Matthew struggled with depression and mental health issues ever since he was a child and it only increased as he grew older. As an adult he embarked on a journey of self actualisation from self hate to self love, form worthlessness to being worthy and this is basically what the song is about. It offers hope to anyone experiencing depression, self loathing and low self esteem and lets them know that you too can experience a TRANSFORMATION.
Matthew has had quite a few people tell him that the lyrics of the song has helped them through some trying times. The original mix was mixed by Dexter Simmons in LA who has mixed Michael Jackson, JLo, Brandy Justin Timberlake to name just a few.
