Groove Chronicles founded by Noodles has had releases dating back from the early 90’s with jungle and hard-core and rave as part of his path within UK’s underground music scene and is a legend in the world of UK garage.
Noodles has been working in the music game for three decades, from his early days djing in at raves in Paris when he was 17 to sets across Europe and playing in london’s clubland and radio shows/features on Rinse fm/1xtra/reprezent/NTS/run dem radio and kiss fm to serving vinyl behind london’s iconic record shop counters, passion records/zoom records/unity records/unit 2/flying records/ release the groove/ uptown records selling all styles of genres from house to techno and r’n’b and hiphop, to running and releasing music on his own imprint label, DPR recordings. Including remixes from artists the likes of sia/destiny child/goldie/rudimental. And is Responsible for bonafide UK garage classic’s like stonecold/Myron/first time/ poormans break and future classic’s soul n mind his work serves as a blueprint for many sounds across the UK bass spectrum.
He’s now working with longtime associate producer dubchild with a musical background steming from reggae/hiphop and jungle. Dubchild has released a an array of dubstep & grime instruments through various labels since the early 2000’s including storming productions & heavy artillery and DPR recordings, amongst others.
Noodles Groove chronicles & Dubchild also combine under the moniker Nu-Agenda with their own hybrid house style, and have had collective support over the years from stations such as 1Xtra, NTS, Kiss, Reprezent & Rinse, DJs such as Annie Mac/Toddla T/ Zane Lowe/Mary Anne Hobbs/ Rwas Kwame/ IG culture/Charlie dark/,Giles Peterson/Ross allen/Bradley zero/afronaught/ Marc mac/Emerald rose/Dr dubplate/Marcia carr/ Jeremy Sylvester/zed bias/ and publications like iD, Fact, DJ Mag & Crack Magazine, to name a few.
