LONDON, UK — Following the acclaimed launch of his UK Garage EP series earlier this year, Shy Cookie returnswith Volume 2, delivering another essential installment of bass-heavy grooves, soulful hooks, and pure 2-step energy.
This second release brings together a heavyweight lineup of UKG royalty and rising stars: Shelley Nelson, the voicebehind classics like Something In Your Eyes and Straight from the Heart, brings her unmistakable tone to the project, alongside the elegant soul stylings of Nuala, and two of Garage’s most iconic MCs—MC Neat and MC Spee.
Known as one of the architects of UK Garage, Shy Cookie has been shaping the genre since 1998, from his early work with DJ Luck & MC Neat to co-founding The House & Garage Orchestra and headlining sold-out tours across theUK. Volume 2 continues to mine his personal archive while blending fresh studio work and reimagined classics, resulting in a record that feels both nostalgic and forward-thinking.
