LONDON, UK — UK Garage trailblazer Shy Cookie is set to reignite the scene with a series of four EPs dropping throughout 2025. The project showcases the depth of his decades-long archive alongside brand new and reimagined material, featuring some of the most iconic voices in UKG: MC Neat, Soraya, MC Spee, Nuala, and more.
From his ground-breaking early productions like Troublesome, Poison, and Burning, to co-producing DJ Luck & MC Neat’s classic It’s All Good album and founding the orchestral powerhouse The House & Garage Orchestra, Shy Cookie has been at the heart of the genre’s evolution since the late ’90s.
This series isn’t just about nostalgia—it’s a living, breathing celebration of the past, present and future of Garage. Expect unreleased gems, rare cuts from the vault, fresh productions, and remastered anthems that reflect Shy Cookie’s unique role in shaping the sound and pushing it forward.
“I’ve been sitting on a huge archive of music that tells the story of my journey through Garage. Now felt like the right time to release these into the world—some tracks untouched since the early 2000s, others fully reworked for today. This is for the heads who’ve been there from day one, and the new generation just discovering the sound.”
The first EP in the series will drop this Spring, with each release continuing to build a sonic narrative across 2025. Whether it’s the raw energy of Pirate Radio-era productions or the slick polish of contemporary remixes, the project is a testament to Shy Cookie’s versatility, longevity, and continued innovation.
Shy Cookie remains a driving force in UK music—not only through his own releases and sold-out tours with The House & Garage Orchestra, but also as an educator, mentor, and community leader running music workshops and industry access projects for young creatives across the UK.
